Yes, to secure your project and begin the design process, we require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total invoice amount. If you'd prefer, we offer a flexible 3-month payment plan, with the remaining balance split over the next two months—allowing you to invest in your business with confidence and ease of cash flow. Need a different arrangement? Just let us know; we're always happy to accommodate. x

02. How long is the process?

We manage all projects on a monthly basis, starting on the 1st of each month. This is a general timeline that we try to keep, but life happens. It could be adjusted.

03. I just want a logo?

If you’re here and ready to elevate your brand, let’s be clear—there’s no such thing as ‘just a logo.’

We begin each project with a detailed questionnaire to uncover your core values and the vision for your dream business aesthetic.

Then we use these key words throughout the design process, to ensure that we pull through the most perfect (and functional) design concept for you. This will set you up for success, for years to come. We are dreaming big here together. That logo isn't just designed for your jewellery tags that you make from home, it is designed in such a way that you can confidently open a shop one day!

We fully equip you (to say the least) with mockups, moodboards, font styling, colour usage, etc..

04. What is a Primary , Secondary & Brand Mark logos?

1. PRIMARY LOGO / 
	+ The main and most comprehensive version of your logo. 
	+ Includes all essential elements like your business name, tagline (if any), est year, graphic. 
	+ Usage: website, store front, business cards, etc

2. SECONDARY LOGO / 
	+ A simplified version of your primary logo. 
	+ Rearranged/stacked layout for smaller uses
	+ Usage: social media profiles, promotional material

2. BRAND MARK LOGO / 
	+ The most minimalist logo to represent your brand.
	+ Graphic / icon / monogram
	+ Usage: stickers, watermark, favicon

05. Do you offer SEO support for websites?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All our web design packages include basic SEO strategies to help your website rank better. (we even assist with linking your Google Business profile to ensure you get found easily)

That said, we’re designers, not copywriters, so we highly recommend partnering with our SSS copywriter to craft the perfect content and keywords to boost your SEO. Reach out if you want to find out more about this service.

06. How will we stay connected during the design process?

- this will be our main communication. it's so nice that we can make use of this platform to have a quick chat (almost on the daily) 
- for Studio Days - we only work through WhatsApp.

Zoom:
- are you overseas? of course we can have a e-meet x

Coffee:
- we don't do meet ups. for the only reason that its time consuming and our time is limited with studio hours being 9-3pm.

07. Who will create my designs?

Simoné leads every single project — from start to launch. You’ll be in direct contact with her throughout the entire process.

Although we collab with other highly skilled designers for smaller projects or items like collateral; who work alongside us and part of the SSS team.

In short, trust the process—Sim will be your Creative Director, guiding your vision and bringing your dream to life.

08. Do I need to purchase my own domain, or is one provided?

Accepted Answer

You have to purchase your own domain.

Our website packages do not include hosting, domain, or platform subscription fees. Once your domain and hosting are set up, we’ll be ready to move forward with designing your website!

Our business goal is to set you and your business up for long-term success. That’s why we don’t charge monthly maintenance fees—we believe in empowering you to take control of your own website.

You’re welcome to use your own provider, but please note we are not IT support, so if your hosting or emails encounter issues, we won’t be able to assist. We recommend Afrihost for hosting and domain services, as they are reliable with excellent customer service. If you’d like to go with Afrihost, feel free to reach out, and we’ll gladly help you get set it up.

09. What I am not happy with my design after 2/3 refinements rounds?

We start each project with a questionnaire to understand your inner values & the vision for your dream business aesthetic.You also have the option to share any examples or styles you’re drawn to. It’s important that you provide clear feedback throughout the process so we can align with your goals and direction throughout.

At the end of the day, we want you to choose SSS as your brand designer because our style resonates with you, and you feel we’re a perfect match—so we’re confident we’ll get it right!

If, however, you’re not fully satisfied after the included rounds of refinements, we’re happy to continue the refinement process at our current hourly rate, with the possibility of extending the project deadline if needed.

10. Is there an option to speed up the design process?

002. FULL BRAND + WEBSITES // Our packages are designed with specific timelines for a reason. We dive deep into research and concept development, ensuring we create the perfect design for your brand. Each timeline is carefully crafted to allow time for thorough research, design drafting, and refinement rounds. If you’re working with a tight deadline, let us know your project scope, and we can explore the possibility of speeding up the process.

003. GRAPHIC DESIGN // For any collateral work (non-conceptual), a 20% urgency fee applies if you need an expedited turnaround time faster than the standard 2-4 week period.
